I‘m currently reading the more updated 5e version. It‘s a beautiful book with some cool stuff in it but definitely not for everyone. Still cool though. I‘m having a good time getting started trying my hand at D&D. I have the pdf version and the one from DNDBeyond. Gotta learn the rules before I jump into the virtual tabletop. The Stand is on a Kindle within this case. I‘m reading it rather fast and am enjoying the vividness of it. I haven‘t reached Book 2 which is within the book in and of itself yet and I‘d already recommend it. I know this is sounding like a review but given that I haven‘t officially read it I‘d like to hold off and wait until I‘m done. Thanks to a few people who have suggested a text service and gave tips. I was reading Angels and Demons but the library pushed through and got me The Stand rather quickly. Since I have a limited time, I‘m forced and willing to read it instead. I‘ll probably go with the Dark Tower series now instead. Either way it‘s all good. Thanks for reading. Have a good one.
I started reading this and the series that follows instead of the Wheel of Time. I didn‘t really want to dedicate myself to 14 books just yet. See I just started reading for leisure recently. It was my first major book and this‘ll be my second. My avatar is actually from the movie.
pickI liked the book a good bit except for this one part and the ending. It was a real time investment but I think the ride was worth it even though it was a let down ending. It was very vivid in the descriptions and Stephen King painted a great picture... mentally speaking.
