Heard about this book in conversation about people writing to inmates. The first couple pages got me interested. From my understanding it is about this 18 year old college student who wrote to serial killers such as Gacy, Ramirez, Manson and Dahmer..forming the biggest bond with Gacy, placing himself as a victim to gain understanding of them.

Ok, not a “grown up” book, but my son and I have been reading this at bed time and I catch myself letting him staying up way past bedtime because I want to know what happens next. I super suggest it for anyone with kiddos, my son is 8 and loves it. Plus, word on the street is Netflix is making a series on it.

My first Ann Rule book. Wasn't disappointed. Bundy terrifies the hell out of me. There were a few times through the book I needed to take a break, especially after reading the chi omega details.

SarahEllenReads In the middle of it right now! It‘s been a little slow at parts for me but generally I‘ve been enjoying it! 5y

I totally would have joined a cult if I were a teenager in the 70s 🤦‍♀️

Quick read. Frustrating main character, the ending was a little hard to follow.
