pickI didn't have high expectations for this book because I got it as a kindle first book and I seem to be burned by those a lot lately. This book was so fantastic though. The way the author portrays the characters and history is just fabulous. If you're in the mood for a historical romance please read this...you won't regret it

so-soFinished this. Enjoyed it I guess... the tacky banter grew on me enough that I'll read the second one if the opportunity arises but I'm not going to seek it out.
I don't know how I feel about this "witty" banter right now but I'm only a tenth of the way thru so I'm hoping it will become more natural feeling
Shift was even better than Wool in my opinion!!!! Such a good explanation book to the world of Wool! "Be careful where you go digging..."

pickFinished the 5th book in the series and like all Ann Aguirre's books things are starting to wrap up leaving no real loose ends. Jax has matured and changed but is no less of a bad ass babe then she was in the first book...

pick5/5 stars it was a good read. If you even slightly like fashion or history this book is for you. The authors story is so heart felt and told with an honesty that is endearing.
Went to the library and checked out this gem...lets see if it's any good ☺️
