This book was an emotional rollercoaster. The best book I've read from this author so far.
Jace and Andrea meet in Central Park when they are both seventeen. Jace is a budding musician who lost his parents at thirteen and was raised by his two older brothers. Andrea comes from money, a family that values achievements more than friendship and love. Andrea and Jace connect right away. What follows is a love story of epic proportions.

This

The Blue Man has gone missing in Colorado and Will and Jessica are tasked to find him. This story sure had many different twists revealing piece after piece of the puzzle. In the beginning I had no idea what route the story would take, and eventually, it ended up being a completely different story and nothing I thought it would be. I am sorry that this is the last book in the series, but I'm satisfied with the way things ended.

I was not expecting to enjoy this book as much as I did. I was not a fan of Malibu Rising or Carrie Soto in it for that matter. I was so sure I would not like a book about tennis. But in the end I actually did like Carrie. She grew on me and matured considerably during the story. Carrie really learned a lot about herself during her comeback. Still my favorite characters were Javier and Bowe. The plot was well written and engaging.

This was an interesting read. Dez Limerick is a retired mercenary gatekeeper, currently a musician. He's strong and skilled in everything deadly. A little bit like Reacher but with humor mixed in. He‘s sociable and friendly, and gets things done in his own way with the help of strangers he meets. And then they are not strangers anymore, but good friends. This was an entertaining book even though it took me a while to get into it.

This is the fourth and final book in the series. Wars of the Roses sure were crazy times. I've randomly known about many of the events, like the princes in the Tower, but never knew how they all tied together. There were a lot of characters with similar names like Henry or Edward and I was sometimes really confused. The book was good in places and boring in others. I'm actually really happy I persevered with it and was able to finish the series.

I can easily understand why this book won the Pulizer. It has an interesting plot, insight in American indian culture and masterfully crafted diverse cast of characters, Pixie and Wood Mountain among my very favorite. This book tells a story. It does not give you all the answers so much as make you think about these characters and their paths even after finishing the book. The story was slow going in some places, but all in all a good read.

An intense and terrifying read.
It‘s Summer in the book, but this gloomy winter picture accutately sums up the mood of the book.

This book was quite lovely. Coming of age story set in Ireland in 2010 dealing with friendship, love and finding your place in the world. It brought back memories of my own youth. All the characters felt so real. They were all flawed in their own ways, but totally relatable. The writing style is compelling and kept me reading late into the night. I did not want to put it down after I started reading. Will definitely read more from this author.

BarbaraBB Loved this one too and am also very interested in this author! 3mo
thewallflower0707 Really happy I gave this a chance, I enjoyed this a lot as well. I appreciated how the novel covers the economical crisis and still managed to keep it heartfelt & real. 2mo

This was an interesting book. The writing style was really dry and humorous. I liked our heroine Lillian and her energetic and straightforward way of getting down to business. Her interaction with the kids, Bessie and Roland, is rather endearing. Their ability to sponatneously combust made her instantly protective of them. What a wonderful story about a found family. Loved the ending.

This was really good. I read it in one sitting. Short chapters, multiple POV‘s and these twists I did not see coming. The plot includes Hollywood‘s finest movie stars, twins, secrets and two bodies. Fast paced and thrilling with mostly unlikable characters., although I did like detectives Farah and Kevin. They were a good duo.

This must have been the best retelling I've ever read. I mostly don't enjoy retellings and tend to steer away from them. I'm so happy that I gave this one a chance. This was a violent, gritty and horrifying journey that kept me on the edge of my seat needing to read faster. Red was a great heroine. She's resourceful, unyielding and so very kick-ass. I urgently need to check what other books this author has written. I'm pleasantly surprised.

This book has three strong female characters. Nina was such a strong and determined woman, wanting to fly and, after the war, track down the huntress. And Jordan, so young, navigating through post-war world. The huntress herself was cunning and ruthless, but her backstory was never fully explained. I enjoyed the detailed descriptions of the time period and especially the storyline about the female night bomber regiment.

I rated two books five stars last year. Out of 299 books that is not very many. I hope I‘m not too critical ;-)

This book is perfect for this cold weather we have here in Finland.

The snowboarding aspect of this book was really interesting. Short chapters that ended in cliffhangers were an easy way to keep me reading. I so wanted to know what will happen next. The characters are not very likable, but that goes with the teope, obviouslu. The ending was a surprise and also slightly unconvincing. A good read anyway.

This was a great slow burn sports romance. For some reason I love the marriage of convenience trope.

Oh, this was really lovely. Now I finally know what is my favorite kind of fantasy book. I've been reading fantasy, but it has never been my go-to genre. These characters are so sweet and cuddly, even though they are meant to be scary creatures. The world building is simply awesome. I can't wait to read more. ❤️

This book was both beautifully written and agonizingly sad. The writing style was atmospheric, beautiful and paced just right. The characters felt so real to me. This was a lovely read.

This was a cute one. I‘m not very fond of cozy mysteries, but I wanted to try this one. I think people who follow royalty, in a good way of course, will like this. Queen Elizabeth ll is a witty and likable character and so is her secretary Rozie. Together they investigate a suspicious death in Windsor Castle. The mystery is not the best part of the story. I enjoyed the portrayal of royal life much better.
