Sad life.
I tried to figure out the riding-a-white-elephant-down-a-narrow-jungle-path expression, but I failed to do so. What kind of expression it is? 😂😂😂
Any opinion?

"We know very little about eternity, although we can infer its existence."
"The goal of pinball is self-transformation, not self-expression. It involves not the expression of the ego but its diminution. Not analysis but all-embracing acceptance.
If it's self-expression, ego expansion, or analysis you're after, the tilt light will exact its unsparing revenge."
"Lies are terrible things. One could say that the greatest sins afflicting modern society are the proliferation of lies and silence."
"It's okay to fake it. Right? There are no truly strong people. Only people who pretend to be strong."

It took me months to finish reading this book.
It would be better if you can read The Shining first.
The True Knot people are too easy to be killed.
Rose the Hat, the main antagonist is not scary at all.
The climax fall short.
I give it 3/5 ⭐
Double dreaming. Anyone experienced this before?
Paul Kalanithi was about to complete his training as a neurosurgeon when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. His life turned upside down but he didn't give up to make the best for his family and career.
My heart is touched and moved reading the epilogue of the book written by his wife, Lucy Kalanithi.
Do you agree with John?
A simple book, yet full of wisdom.
When Spring comes do rocks turn green?
You, too, be modest like the earth and let the colorful roses grow from you.
Your desire for the admiration of others keeps you caged.
The concept was original, how people were grieving over their departed loved ones, longing for one last connection. Unresolved feelings, things need to be said, forgiveness to be asked, meant a lot to the people remaining.
However, the resolution fell short for me. I'm a little bit disappointed with the ending of the book.
"If you find one true friend in life, you're richer than most. If that one true friend is your husband, you're blessed."
Anyone here is rich and blessed? ??
"...Knowing heaven...is what heals us on earth."
You have to start over. That's what they say. But life is not a board game, and losing a loved one is never really "starting over." More like "continuing without."
"Be the woman you want to be, not the woman everyone else expects you to be."
Be proud of who you are. After all, you're not only a one in a million... you're once in a lifetime.
"When you forgive, you don't do it for the other person's sake, you do it for your own sanity and peace of mind."
For the ones you have loved, they've shown you the infinite possibilities of happiness. As for the ones you have lost, they've reminded you of the tremendous pains of heartbreak. To all of them, you say, "Thank you." It's because of them that you now stand there the beautiful, strong, and independent woman that you are.
The story is excellent and genius. The plot twist makes you feel like you're riding a roller coaster. It is a breathtaking and highly addictive story. Once started, you will keep on turning the pages. With a lot of humor, this sci-fi book is never too boring. This book is extraordinary!
This is hilarious. 😂
I can't stop reading.
Help me.
I should put down the book (the phone actually, I'm reading through Wattpad).
Got an exam the day after tomorrow. 😭
DISTORTED sense of humour.
I was laughing so hard. 😆😆😆
It's a wonderful story, well-written, touching, insightful and lovely. 😍👍
Knowing can be a curse on a person's life. I'd traded in a pack of lies for a pack of truth, and I didn't know which one was heavier. Which one took the most strength to carry around? It was a ridiculous question, though, because once you know the truth, you can't ever go back and pick up your suitcase of lies. Heavier or not, the truth is yours now.

"All this love coming to me. I didn't know what to do with it. I wanted to say, I love you too. I love you all. The feeling rose up in me like a column of wind, but when it got to my mouth, it had no voice, no words. Just a lot of air and longing."

You can be bad at something, but if you love doing it, that will be enough.
The Reb once did a sermon on how the same things in life can be good or evil, depending on what, with free will, we do with them. Speech can bless or curse. Money can save or destroy. Science can heal or kill. Even nature can work for you or against you: fire can warm or burn, water can sustain life or flood away.
