This was an ok read with a lot of first-world problems. So much build up (hundreds and hundreds of pages) with limited ah-ha moments.

My favorite book in ages. Murders and plot twists to satisfy all! Check it out if you love thrillers or court room drama.

Crazy family drama mixed with a missing person investigation makes for a perfect summer read!

This book was mediocre for me. I found the characters depressing and didn't feel a sense of hope or change by the end.

Happy (almost) release day to Girl in Snow. You guys, the writing in this book was killer. Not a traditional thriller, but as long as you're ok with that you'll enjoy it! My full review is at jackiereadsbooks.blogspot.com!

Finally finished and reviewed this novel. Loved the fact that there were some strong females. Didn't like how wishy washy the lead was. And the romance was a bit weak. Have you read it? What were your thoughts?

athorne Definitely agree on the wishy washy, and am actually thrilled that the romance was damn near non-existent. :3 Rhia though. Love her. 7y

The Marriage Pact: A Novel | Michelle Richmond

Mehso-so

Just finished The Marriage Pact. This one was so-so for me. Parts I liked, parts I didn't like. What'd you think?

ScrappyMags Ok I'm single but I thought married folks could really get into it more - I mean the nuts and bolts of the pact sounded good and Jakes honesty (even though it was a bit sexist I think) I think Its like a LOT of men who want strong independent women until they learn what that means. I think many secretly want that wife that caters more to HIS needs. I liked it cuz it stayed with me. 7y
JoRead @ScrappyMags My thought exactly about married/partnered people getting more into it. It was a hit and miss for me 7y

This was a difficult read for me. Didn't like book 1, but books 2 and 3 redeemed the novel. Would have loved to have less religion and more of a character driven story.

Creepy, with a little twist. Watch Me Disappear tells the story of a father and daughter mourning the loss of Billie Flanagan. Was she murdered? Did she die in an accident? Or did she simply leave her picture perfect life behind for a new one?

Tornado Weather | Deborah Elaine Kennedy
post image
Pickpick

This was a tough read for me. Maybe because I grew up in a small Midwestern town – the racism, the anti-LGBTQ sentiments, the sexism and other difficult issues really hit me. It may be an eye-opening read for some. I thought Tornado Weather was extremely well-written – I was instantly immersed into the town and could empathize with even the worst characters. This book may not be for everyone, but I recommend checking it out.

Currently reading The Breakdown and I am so stressed out. Why do you keep making ridiculous decisions? Why can't you remember things? It's like a flashback to The Girl on the Train!
