Perfect fall evening!
After a long day, this book almost feels like work. I need to think too much!

Loved this book! Tough subject matter (domestic abuse) but very well written and handled. Fabulous job, Ms. Hoover!
So very gruesome at parts, but such a wonderful psych thriller. Will definitely be reading more by this author!
Love this book. Such a great love story. love can change and you need to be true to who you are and who you are supposed to be.
Read the first half in one sitting. The second half took a little more to get into, maybe because I was too busy this week. Over all, really enjoyed this fun, psychological read!
Loved this book! About moving on and finding yourself again after the loss of a loved one. Well written from the first page to the end!
Talk about a love hate relationship! Half way through I threatened to throw it out the window of the car as I was so frustrated. Then the book finishes and I decide it's a good story. I think this might be a case where the movie does a lot for the book. The book is A little wordy and drug out.
Loved this book! Such a sweetly sad story. Reminded me of older Kristin Hannah work.
So I want this to be a pick and a so-so rating. I enjoyed reading it, but it wasn't anything stand out stellar. Now maybe if I did any competitive sports in life, I might think this book was phenomenal. Full thoughts and review on the blog this week.
Fabulous YA book! There was some deep, real stuff in it and it was well written. If you are into YA books/contemporary fiction then I would for sire recommend this one!
Loved this modern day retelling of Taming of the Shrew! It was a fun, little quick read. Very well done, as one would expect from Anne Tyler.
Typical YA contemporary summer love story. I really enjoyed it, perfect for a very light, summer read!
The 16 year old girl in me is loving these group text (with emoji) pages! Such a fun little break in the book! Sometimes you just need to read teenage cheesiness! 😍
A good story overall and an enjoyable read. The main character has some character flaws that started to annoy me, making the book a little obnoxious. However, that's part of what makes the story, hence the lower rating. All in all a fabulous YA book, especially for kids having a hard time with HS.
"I thought it was only in filthy places no one wants to do,like...Detroit." Poor Detroit, always getting put down. I love you, and I would like to be there!
Just like the rest of the series for me, I get 1/2 way through and it becomes so tough to get through until the end.
Obsessed. Absolutely loved this book and cannot wait to read the others in the series!
Not as exciting as the first. Lots of dragging out scenes. Still love the story line and feel too invested to give up on the series though!
This book just got really good (finally) and I just want to sit and read. Too bad I have a gajillion things I need to get done in the real world.
Obsessed with the cover. Good story. A little ghostly, and mysterious. Wasn't anything remarkable.
Husband loves movies, and I need to read the book first, of course. So I picked this up first. Beautifully written book, poetic and great illustrations. However, I won't see the movie. Too sad! 😭
A truck driver delivers to route 117 for the 10 or so people who live out there in the middle of the desert. So hauntingly wonderful!! Little bit of mystery, crime, life and just all around great book! I highly recommend!
Wonderful contemporary/romance book with just enough twists and romance to make it a very enjoyable read.
Guess I'm binge reading the series. I'm too stuck in this world to read anything else right now.
Late to the Shatter Me series, but I was in the mood for light , dystopian YA fiction and this definitely fit that need!
Once the previous book came back to me, this one was more enjoyable. I don't think it felt as original as Darker Shade of Magic, but I still enjoyed it.
This is the second book by Harlan Coben that I have read, the first being The Stranger. I could definitely pick up on trends and personality of the author after reading both of these books. This one definitely had me guessing and trying to solve the mystery right along with Maya.
Happy to be back in the world of Londons, but I can't remember much of what happened in the last book since its been so long since I've read it.
I wanted so badly to absolutely love this book. The beginning was slow, but once the characters were developed, it became a lovely story. The characters are all broken in some way and the book tells their journeys to becoming whole.
Finally getting a chance to start this beautiful book. I adore NYC and books that are set in the city.
I had such a love hate relationship with this book. The first 100 pages I adored and was thinking it was the best book ever! Then the "sci fi" twist started and caught me off guard.Once I got into it, I was really enjoying the mystery of it all.
