A good police procedure mystery novel. A mystery exploring sexism, racism and class as seen thru the eyes of retired Inspector Wexford as he is called into help.
Historical novel about the war, Nazi hunting and war criminals. Not my usual reading choice but I liked this book! Suspense and great characters!

I prefer more suspense and excitement in my mystery books so this book was a little disappointing in that respect; however it did offer some twists and turns with a surprise ending.
A beautiful historic plantation and a crime scene make for good mystery! Uncovering the killer while also uncovering layers of racism and social justice will keep you enthralled with the characters and story. I liked it!
