Today, I‘m sharing my reading progress for a book I‘m currently listening to.
I‘m sharing my reading progress for this book that I‘m currently listening to. I have 12 hours left in this audiobook.
I started listening to this book tonight on Scribd. I have to review this book for Bookish First because I won a physical ARC of this book but I‘ve decided to listen to it on audio. So far, I‘m liking this book better than the first one. I want to keep listening. If I decide to continue this series, there are 3 more books to read after this one.

Book 2 in the Jane Hawk series and our heroine is just as kickass plus she meets some great people along the way.
Sadly book 3 is not available yet on Libby so I will have to wait before returning for more saving the world one bad guy at a time.
This is my fourth or fifth Dean Koontz. I‘m enjoying his books.
We continue to follow Jane Hawk in her fight to expose the conspiracy responsible for the death of her husband Nick and many others thought to be capable of shaping the world to come. Trust me, you want Jane on your side when it hits the fan.
The conspiracy is chilling... but possible?
Classic DK. Conspiracy involving people in high level government positions and very wealthy people of power.
⭐⭐⭐⭐☄
I need to sleep but this book refuses to be put down right now...
Beginning book number 31 of my year...this one I honestly don‘t think I‘ve read a Koontz with the character before so hopefully it doesn‘t matter.
#ARC #Review: The Whispering Room by Dean Koontz with Bantam Books. Koontz' dynamic and suspense-filled writing style continues in this second installment of the Jane Hawk series.⠀

Despite the fact that I already have two other books on the go, I just HAD to start this one! Elle approves 😉 #dogsoflitsy
Omg the last 50 pages of this book will be intense!
I‘m so I have not read the first book do I need to in order to read this one. I got an arc of this a while back and I am now just getting to it. Should I get the first one and read it.?
A good addition to the series that I liked slightly more than the first, largely due to the characters. It would benefit from more development of Jane, maybe through flashbacks of her and Nick. #aroundtheyearin52books
“Controlled paranoia was a survival mechanism. Unrelieved paranoia was a greased chute into madness.”
Love thrillers and this sequel to The Silent Corner brings everything: great plot, current ideas, action and a smart, former FBI agent forced to go rogue, Jane Hawk. A page turner that I couldn‘t put down!
Finally finished typing up a review for this one to post on Goodreads and my blog. While the first in the series was more engaging, this was still a well-written and suspenseful read. I wanted to enjoy it as much as The Silent Corner, but it was a little slower and I think that was it's Achilles heel.
I can‘t stay calm and read on... the next book isn‘t out yet 😬!! Book one was a bit slow to start, but kept building in old school Koontz style and by the end I had to immediately jump into this one! This was faster paced, and I read it in just a few days. But now I want more! What happens next?! I don‘t want to wait till May to find out!
Excited to see a new book out from one of my favorites! Litsy doesn't have it listed yet so I had to tag another Dean Koontz book.
So very grateful for my husband and my in-laws who generously enable my book addiction. The Dean Koontz and Richard Matheson books are signed. ☺️🎄🎁📚
This is the second book in Koontz‘ Jane Hawk series. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book, The Silent Corner, and this installment was just as good, maybe better. In The Whispering Room, Jane Hawk is on the run as she continues her relentless pursuit of those who are manipulating unlikely people into committing suicide. A real page-turner. Eagerly awaiting the third installment.
This is so good you have to read it!!!! You can‘t put it down.
Straight out of processing 👍🏻 a little long for me to get into now though, I have to many TBRs already 🤫
4.5/5 🌟 review for me. I love Jane Hawk, my complete girl crush and reigning bad ass of action books! The saga and mystery continues in this follow up. Not as shocking and the story doesn‘t advance as much as the 1st book, but i was riveted!

This follow up to The Silent Corner opens up immediately after the first book‘s conclusion and keeps a pretty steady and exciting pace! Jane, and the new characters introduced along the way, are easy to like (and in some cases, hate!). I‘m interested to see where the next book will go, considering this ending!!
So excited to win my very first book through a contest! (Thank you to Dustin on GR and Random House!)
AND... it‘s My #favoriteauthor !!
Jane being pragmatic.
