This was my most anticipated book of #bookcon this year! Her graceling series were the books that got me into fantasy! And I will alway be thankful for it! And although this is not a fantasy novel it still sounds amazing!

Very excited to start this series soon. If I heard correctly this series is almost 20 years old and still beloved! If that doesn't tell the tale of how amazing this book is I don't know what will!

The premise was super intriguing and it was fairly fast paced which kept me wanting to keep reading, and I actually enjoyed the "murder mystery" element but it just didn't have the umpfh I wanted it to have. I do want to continue with book 2 but not right now I think I will knock out some other books that are high on my TBR and then come back to it. 3-3.25/5 ⭐️

This book went straight to my top favorite read in 2017. Not only is the story great( plus I love a story inside a story which happens in Eliza's comics) but it dealt with issues that I feel like are skirted around in ya.
