Luceno's word structure, or prose, is incredible. The descriptions are extremely vivid. The visuals he produces really stand out from the pages, making this book one of the most descriptive books I've read in the Expanded Universe. The story is so ominous, and it gives incredible insight as to how the Sith have failed in the past and how they succeeded in their quest to rule the galaxy. #starwars #expandeduniverse

This book is interesting, as it steps outside of the current Star Wars canon to tell a unique story that‘s so different than what we‘re used to. While the plot was great, character elements made dialogue very difficult to understand.

A fun read! The first half was fantastic, the second half was a little too much action for my taste. Mace Windu spends some time in Haruun Kal, the Vietnam War of Star Wars.

Star Wars:The Approaching Storm… was a total drag. So much time was wasted reading pages that never should have been written - written simply to drag a story out. You‘re good to skip on this one .

Ian Fleming wrote an exciting, thrilling story. Bond went through a lot in this story, (the guy smokes nonstop, at one point it says he lit his 70th cigarette of the day). I believe through his ignorance he learned quite a bit about life and how the line between good and evil could shift from a hard edge, to a blurred. This book was a loads of fun to read! I give it an A+

The paperback release of The Southern Book Club‘s Guide to Slaying Vampires is out! This book is incredible! Grady Hendrix creates wonderful characters and loves putting them in awkward, uncomfortable situations.

The plot of the story is great, yet extremely dark. The book is loaded with destruction and death. Scott explores new areas of the Force and how the Jedi can manipulate it for the greater good, and also abuse it. The Nihil are disgusting, geocidal maniacs. Yet, Scott creates a unique power struggle within the group that somehow leaves you routing for one of the villains in a strange twisted way.
