A beautiful graphic novel that captures the struggle to find balance between our technological world and human interactions. #graphicnovels #booklover #bibliophile #librarybooks

The illustrations are fantastic and this book really does "reveal the truth about the absurdity of life in the social media age." Read this if you love satire and/or dark comics!!

Her short stories will really get you thinking and they make you feel like you're right in the story. If you haven't read anything by Megan Mayhew Bergman, check this out! Or her other book which we enjoyed and discussed for our third episode, Almost Famous Women. #shortstorysunday #shortstories

#riotgrams day 23! Books that will give you chills and thrills 😱📚🤓

Emmadash The Hike is such a wonderfully bizarre and hilarious read. It's surprisingly touching, which is not what I expected from a Drew Magary book. I read Deadspin for his NFL game reviews--this is a wonderful step in a different direction. Maybe I will go back to The Postmortal one day. 7y

TheLibrariansSuggest @Emmadash Jade loved The Postmortal and The Hike! Really fun and interesting books. Definitely looking forward to reading more of his work. (edited) 7y

Emmadash Bird Box looks creepy and sounds even creepier. Yay. 7y
Emmadash Annihilation was a bizarre series. Cannot imagine how the movie will work, but I am hopeful. 7y
TheLibrariansSuggest @Emmadash Jade's started Bird Box but hasn't had a chance to keep reading it, but likes it so far. And she's only read the first book in the Southern Reach trilogy but definitely wants to finish that series. We are eager for the movie! (edited) 7y
Emmadash I see we have similar reading styles. All the books. At once. ;) 7y
