Unfortunately the 2nd book took me so long to get through. However, once we got to a certain point it was wonderful and i was surprised in the places i needed to be.
This book. Omg this book blew my mind. It was sooo gothic and creepy and just beautifully written. I have the second book and I cannot wait until I can start reading it. I can‘t wait for more to come from Kerri.
This is a great book, i‘m about three quarters of the way through and want to keep going. Autumn has different idea‘s however.
Over halfway through and it finally feels like it‘s picking up the pace.
When you want to read so bad but work has you mentally and emotionally drained ☹️😴 #nightshift (that bottle is a lamp btw 😂)
In complete honesty...i thought this was great. And i found the ending to be fantastic! Of course there are always things that leave me questioning and things that i downright did not agree with, but at the end there was still conflict and sorrow and the extreme hope for happiness once again.
Mor is my new favorite and nothing anyone can say will change that!!! 🖤🖤🖤👭
I'm pretty freaking sure something just became clear. I had an inkling, but now i'm almost positive! I hope it is true.
Just saw a spoiler on pinterest. Barely halfway through the book. WHY DO YOU DO THIS?!
Omg the cover on this is so gorgeous! Has anyone else gotten this book and just not wanted to stop looking at it?!
I need to sleep! I have to work tomorrow! But omg i love it!!
Okay...When i finished this one i was just in shock. No other way of explaining it. It took me FOREVER to finally finish this one, i felt it lagged a bit in the beginning but it certainly did not disappoint! That ending just had me wanting the next book.
I am so happy and yet very sad. This final book was so amazing. Thank you Sara for ending this as beautifully as you did!
I haven't felt like reading much of anything else lately, so this is always nice to re-read
I can't sleep so I guess I am just going to go back and forth between reading and making flashcards for some of the info that I received on my first day of my new job yesterday.
This was super sad and a very beautiful story. I can't tell you how much I was frustrated with some of the characters, but I loved every bit of it.
I will finish this today! My job let me go last night because I had informed them earlier in the week about a full time opportunity that I had been working with passing background stuff for the past few weeks, I still have a little more to get through but they seemed pretty confident I would get it. Though I understood their position, i'm still a little sad. But better things are happening, and I can always go back if they don't work out!
So I finally got a post college job recently. Nothing fancy. Just something that gives me a paycheck and I enjoy it. But there is quite a bit of down time throughout my workweek and since my boss doesn't like us being on our phones when there is nothing to do, i'm permitted to sit and read. Could this not be a better job for a book worm?! I can seriously go a whole day without a customer and just be reading the whole time.
OMFG! I literally slithered to the floor at work clutching this book in agony because I could not believe it would end like this! I need that 2nd book today!!!
Enjoying my day off this morning by drinking coffee and trying to finish this beauty!
I wasn't overly crazy for this one. But it was still pretty good. Easy enough to finish quickly and a nice change from what I usually read. However, the Epilogue left me more curious than anything else.
This was an incredible sequel. I loved it so much and just everything that was revealed and everything to come in the next two books are just going to be amazing. In the first book I disliked Laia so much, but this book really brought out her character. And the depth of Helene was even greater. I loved having it switch to her point of view as well.
My day was made. The final book in the series and I could just cry of happiness! Now to place it on my TBR list and I will eventually get to it. ❤️❄️
Not sure how possible it actually is to read with a kitty on me like this but i'm going to try. I've been severely slacking on my reading, even though this is extremely good!
Super excited to have this one FINALLY on my shelf. Went to Target to look at their copies of it today and they only had one on the floor, and the cover was all messed up. Saddened I went down to Barnes & Noble next thinking more than likely they would still have a slew of books. AGAIN! Only one in the floor AND I needed help finding it! At least now I have it, and i'm starting on it next.
I almost didn't get through this one. After about 100pgs however it felt like it flipped a switch and became just a bit more interesting and started giving more information. I ending up really loving this, and so much was still left completely unanswered so i'm happy I did get the 2nd book. Hoping that more questions are answered and the world of magic is explored a little further.
Vicious kitten attacks innocent book. I realized what she was doing and caught her before she really destroyed it 🙀
Well this just took an interesting turn. I was a little afraid I was gonna get disappointed with the main character.
Oh. My. Gosh. This was such a wild ride from start to finish. I am absolutely thrilled that I finally picked this one up. At first it felt slow to get into, but then it got to a point where I just couldn't put it down. My chest was so tight with fear about what might happen next. I wanted to cry when I thought Ezra was dead, but then that reveal and twist at the end! Mind = blown and I cannot wait until book 2.
Artificial Intelligence is fucking terrifying! Like what the actual fuck just happened?! I just imagine a pack of very fast moving zombies basically attacking the captain on the bridge at this point. I can't stop reading, physically forcing myself to go to bed now.
Seriously can anything be better than a good book and a purring, sleepy kitten. Loving Illuminae so far, the style is awesome, and I am always just a sucker for these types of books that keep you kind of curious and questioning what is going to happen and why it might be happening.
How exactly am I to survive until May 2017 for the 3rd book? My emotions are shattered and drained. Maas you wicked evil writer. But I certainly did love this one so much more than the first. The Night Court is so much better than the Spring Court.
I don't think I will ever get over Sarah J. Maas' writing. Her character and world building is just spectacular.
I've been hearing so much about it (all good things). So i've decided it is finally time to crack it open!
This was such a great addition to the Harry Potter world. Seeing the flaws, and the fears was an interesting and extraordinary change of pace. I see why so many had trouble connecting with Albus, and this was absolutely wild from start to finish, but I loved every bit of it through the tears and laughter.
It has not taken me long at all to be absorbed into this...but it has just definitely taken a weird-ish turn.
Still loving every bit of it though!
No! NO NO NO NO! That is all i am willing to say. I am thrilled that i bought the second book, because just no! How dare this end the way it did. I have been sucked into the summoning world and there is no turning back!
Now this is going so much better than the last book I was reading. Loving the story so far, very captivating. Excited to see where it is going!
