I've heard and read alot of people putting this book and Gena herself down for not putting William with Gillian. William needed a heroine that wasn't a push over or soft around the edges. He needed someone to put his ass in check and to absolutely upend his world.
Gillian wouldn't have been able to do that. Sorry, not sorry!
And I absolutely adore Sunny and her sassy little self. I loved how William's story wrapped up. Absolutely loved it ❤

I feel like my heart was ripped out of my chest.
I loved and hated this book.
It was beautifully written but damn did she play at the heart strings.
I can't imagine the pain Miles went through. As a mother, I can't fathom what losing a child is like. And now I just want to curl up in a ball and cry my heart out.
I need to go to bed and recover from this one. 😭

Though I didn't like this one as much as Letters to the Lost, I still adored the story. However, Emma and her attitude....made me want to smack her seven ways to Sunday. She was annoying and bitchy. Not to mention self centered at times.
But then again, that's how some teens are. My heart broke for Rev throughout the book. Hes been through so much and I love how he finally broke free at the end. So I'm chalking this up to another great read!

I will say that I did not expect the relationship between Lily and Ryle to play out like it did. He seemed so genuinely good.
But then again, I know that it plays true to any abusive relationship.
I loved how Lily had the strength to break the cycle.
And as cliche as it may have been, I do enjoy that she finally got her chance with Atlas. Despite all the years and everything they had been through in their lives, he was still her protector.

Wow.
Just....my mind is completely blown.
This was an amazing read. Like, I could not put it down, captivating.
You go through the whole book thinking you know what's going on and then those last couple of chapters just punch you right in the face.
My first read of the year and I have a feeling that I'm not going to find another for a while to match up.

I have to say I genuinely enjoyed this book. The only reason that it is getting a 4 star instead of 5 is because of some of the slight....naivety of the writing in some parts. The plot and characters were great. Just some of the internal thought dialogue drove me insane.
Thrillers aren't my usual read but Preston's way of delivering and her originality are just mesmerizing.

I loved, loved, LOVED this book.
It sucked me in right from the start, as is usual with Gena's books.
I am amazed at how much I fell for the characters.
This unique take on Snow White blew my mind and I cannot wait for new books from this series to come out.

⭐⭐⭐

Let me just say that I am absolutely in LOVE with the cover and the premise of the story.
I was sorely disappointed in the turn out of the book.
It started right out the gate throwing all of these different aspects at you, leaving you scratching your head.
Also, I usually love alternating POVs...however this took it too far. It got confusing and everything started to blend together.
I am honestly upset with myself for not just DNFing this

⭐⭐

I had such high hopes and excitement for this book after I devoured the 1st one.
This one was so disappointing! It was the same stuff over and over. And the level of toxicity their relationship had was nauseating.
I really doubt that I'm gonna finish the last 2 books based on how badly this one dragged.

I finished this last night. Read it in a single night because I couldn't put it down!
I'm in such a dazed shock right now. I did NOT see that ending coming.
The entire book, I felt a growing, deep seated hatred for Verity and then those last two chapters threw everything I thought I knew into a complete frenzy of confusion on who the real Verity was.
Such a entrancing read!

I greatly enjoyed this book despite the very overused premise of good girl falls for bad boy. I will say that I wanted to smack BOTH Tessa and Hardin. Tessa, because she was giving into him way too easily after everything he did to her and Hardin, because....well he's Hardin and an absolute asshole. The way he treats Tessa made me fume about 89% of the book. Like what on Earth is WRONG with you??
That cliffhanger though is getting me.

I was so excited that my library finally got a copy of Stepsister in so I could read it after waiting for what felt like forever.
It had a nice flow to it and I loved the ending.
My only issue was that some of the paragraph's phrasing was abrupt and, at times, confusing.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the book and enjoyed it.

It took me a bit to get into it. I'll be perfectly honest, I almost DNF'd it. However, it was so worth the push through! The outcome of the book still has my mind blown. It was sooo good! I loved the character development and the twist of the story. I didn't expect Daphne's life to be like that behind closed doors but Holy cow, I loved how she got her outcome!

I wanted so badly to like this book. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is an extremely original plot and I loved the twists in it. Other than that though, it wasn't very enjoyable for me. I had to force myself to finish it (I hate forcing myself but I didn't want to DNF 2 ARC books in a row)
It went along at a snail's pace (in my opinion) and I kept losing focus because I was getting bored.

I liked this one almost as much as Beautiful Disaster...it was really repetitive but it was great to get inside Travis's head about the situations....plus the epilogue is completely different and tells something you don't get to read in Beautiful Disaster. It's worth the repetition, I promise you.

I really liked that this wasn't a typical YA book where the boy and girl get together. It's a story about the unlikeliest of friends and they rough it through the drama of high school together. It's a great break from the "normal" story.
I don't want to pick so-so but it's also not on my list of "YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!"

I was honestly kind of skeptical on how much I would like this considering it was a free e-mail download from a site I had signed up for.
That being said, I loved the twist on this book. I've read a few werewolf stories but never have I read one with a plot line like this one. It was a new and fresh take on it (to me anyway)
I loved the characters and it was really interesting to see how their relationships blossomed.

God I don't even know where to start.
There's so much to say about this book...

I haven't read a book that has had me this emotionally involved in a long time.

I love historical romances and was looking forward to another.
This book however, I found to be lacking...severely.
I feel as though the author put too much into the beginning of the book and then rushed through the problem, resolution and the end. After I finished, I was left feeling like I knew almost less than when I started. Practically none of the problems presented in the book were answered.

I absolutely fell in love with the characters of this book! I couldn't get enough of it.
Unlike other books where you absolutely hate the main character for some of the stupid decision he/she makes, the ones Angel makes are kind of understandable. You get frustrated with her but all the while your heart breaks right along with/for her.
It also breaks for Michael and the pain he goes through trying to help Angel realize her worth.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I give this 1 star because I honestly could not make myself finish it.
It did not keep my interest and the run on sentences throughout drove me insane.
Lack of punctuation and too much detail (most of it completely unnecessary) just ruined it for me.
I was so excited by the synopsis but this was such a disappointing turn out..

I'll be honest, it took me a few chapters to get into it. I almost DNF'd it. The scene with Nick cussing at her over the phone right after getting out of the hospital kept pricking at my curiosity and I had to know what happened. I pushed myself a bit farther (I usually dont force myself to read books that dont catch my attention.)
However, I'm glad I did with this one. It ended up gripping me and I loved it!

I was so stoked about reading Galen and Legion's story.
However, I was very disappointed with this. There were definitely aspects that I loved but overall, I'm just not satisfied with how the story unfolded.
I'm sorry but Legion getting over all of the traumatic stuff she went through in a month? Sorry, hard pass.
Definitely at the bottom of my list for Gena's books.

I enjoyed the premise of this book and the unique storyline. However, I didn't care for the fact that Blanca was fierce and unique and out of nowhere she becomes a mindless drone.
No gradual change. Just one chapter shes unique BAM next chapter: drone.
Also, towards the end, the story seemed rushed and a lot of it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It was enjoyable but it's definitely not a book I would pick up again.

I absolutely adored this book. It was an addicting read. It was not your normal teen romance and I think I love it more because of that.
Dont get me wrong, I am a huge romance fan.
But there is something so innocent and refreshing for two characters to fall for each other without the usual kissing/touching/close proximity stuff going on.
I highly recommend this book for your next TBR!
