Overall, it was a good-ish kind of story in the three-ish range of star ratings with a boost from the easy-to-listen-to voice of Shannon McManus.

Deliciously suspenseful...sister love/hate drama...teenage mischief...romance...and an deceptively lush island what more could a gal ask for???
Love a survival story check this out if you like anything to do with islands and survival!!
This book is okay..,dragging though.... lets get to it...
I‘m not immediately connected to this book, but I‘ll give it a chance! I thought the cover was soo pretty I had to try!
Trying to finish this one up tonight. I'm mildly annoyed with the characters and ready to move on to a new book. But also I'm 300 pages in, and far too invested in finding out whether or not they get off this damn island to quit! Meanwhile Charlie is shredding his toys.
It's snowing. A rare-ish event where I live. So Charlie Waffles made himself a blanket fort and I'm reading about 3 teenagers stranded on a desert island. Because neither of us want to go out in this weather.
Attempting to crochet myself a Kindle holder! Because every Kindle deserves to be cozy. 😄
Sisters, Emma and Henri, are stranded on a island with one other person, Alex. How will they survive and will help ever come?
I enjoyed this book and the dynamic between sisters. I though Emma and Alex‘s relationship was toxic, unhealthy and they depended on each other way too much.
I liked seeing Emma come into her own without her sister. I also liked seeing her love grow with Alex.
Fast paced story with a lot of twist and turns.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I haven‘t been able to read this weekend.
My husband and I have been watching The Office. But I finally got to get some reading in this afternoon and started this book.

The need to find out what the hell happened between these two sisters is killing me. I‘ll be up all night until I know!
I chose this book because it looks interesting and the colorful cover grabbed my attention #san_32
To rate this is quite difficult for me. The writing style is beautiful and pulled me in, but I don't like the character development - sorry, I don't buy it - and the plot twists are quite obvious and not that hard to guess. Which means, it wasn't that interesting altogether for me. It's a well written book, an interesting idea but that's about it for me.
So this was a well written book and i love the plot but the two main girls are ridiculous and not in a good way.
Henri is entitled, self centred, vengeful and petty AF throughtout the whole book. Emma...its like she perpetually has stockholm syndrome. Sister or not, theres no reason to allow Henri to treat you like that!
Im not crazy about the wrap up. Dont think Henri really learnt to grow up. Really unhealthy and...abusive sibling relationship
Someone needs to go full Lord of the Flies on this Henri girl before I do
Happiness is waking up on a Saturday morning with nothing on your schedule except for a good book.
50% deserted island, 50% contemporary LA, but dangerous pitfalls in both worlds make a 100% survival story. The 2 girls 1 boy triangle does not play out like you think! Emma is pulled between her complex yet intensely close history with her Mean Girl sister and her blank slate friendship (maybe more!) with Alex, with painful secrets on all sides. A testament to the power of sisterhood and its potential to both uplift and destroy. Out today!
This was a really good book about sisters and being stranded on an island and relationships! 4 🌟 out of 5!
Author's Twitter bio says she's a "fan of 'unlikeable' girls" and dang does one of her characters prove it. ? The girl in question lives in California, for reference.
Any Midwest Littens heard about this? I'm planning on going, they've got quite a few authors lined up, including the tagged book, Ryan Graudin and Ally Carter. Their website is rather empty but the Facebook/Twitter pages have the full list. Tickets are free, no info yet on if books will be sold or what.
Up next! Sorry about that glare!
So so excited to read this!! It looks like such a fun and summer-y read 😌
Pic creds to @alittlebookworld (that's me in the back though 😉) 💞
