I read a lot of modern poetry books, and this is probably the best one I‘ve read. Lovelace pours out her emotions in such raw fashion that it really makes you feel and understand her, even though your situations are different. It left me feeling triumphant, and was truly an emotional journey.

rather_be_reading cnt wait to read this one! 6y

This Is Where It Ends | Marieke Nijkamp
Pickpick

This book was so enthralling I couldn‘t put it down. I skipped all of my classes so I could keep reading more. I finished it in one day and was a mess of tears and sobs by the end. I think it‘s something everyone should read, to even get an idea of the terror of gun violence that effects so many.

This was my first step into reading classic lit outside of required readings, and it got me hooked. I‘m a huge fan of Wilde‘s descriptive writing style which I know is a con for some. I loved reading about such sinister characters, and having a main character that wasn‘t a good guy for once was something I really enjoyed as well.

I had to read this book for class (and I normally loved this professors picks) and couldn‘t even get through it. It felt episodic, and like coincidences just kept working out for this character. I also really didn‘t like any of the characters, which didn‘t help. Not 100% sure why people love it as much as they do.

PandaHeartt Yeah. I feel. 100% 6y

Carry On | Rainbow Rowell

One read was enough for me to declare this my favourite book. Characters are always the most important part of the story for me, and never have characters felt so real. They‘re flawed and wonderful all in their own ways. And on top of that, the plot and relationships in the book are top notch. #snowbaz forever babes.

Silently breaks your heart in a million different ways. But the love this book shares is well worth the heartbreak it causes.

Fangirl: A Novel | Rainbow Rowell
Pickpick

I was very hesitant to start this book. I loved other books by Rainbow Rowell and loved them, but didn‘t think I would be as interested in the content of this one. However, this book actually changed my life. I read this book the summer before starting university, and I didn‘t want to go at all. Like Cath, I have anxiety, and wished I could do classes and nothing else. Reading about Cath‘s journey totally changed my perspective. I loved this book!
