This was actually my first Gaiman book, so this thin book holds a special part of me. This was such a read, and I'd reread it again and again if I brought it with me everywhere!

So sorry to say this, but I bailed on Artemis Fowl. It just didn't grasp me. I found Holly (?) annoying af. I tried thrice to finish it but no go. I concentrated more on the secret message on the bottom of the pages than the actual story. I'm willing to try and pick it up again though!

YES, YES, and YES. This is a book I hold very close to my heart because the author lived in my country and the unnamed country where the story takes place is no doubt my country. It wraps up the situation in my country while also spinning a tale of hope, honesty, and better tomorrows.

My very first Beat book (and the only copy in my small bookstore in the province. Imagine my glee!). It's a non-linear narrative of drugs and road trips, so you gotta concentrate!

Tried my luck with this a few years ago, and it just wasn't my cup of tea. It might have to do with the then-overused supernatural romance cliché (thanks to Twilight and TMI).

The first and only mystery novel of Sheldon's, a one-of-a-kind. Masterfully done. His "can't-put-it-down" style is still there. I finished this book - all 320 pages - in an hour. An HOUR. I've never read anything as fast before OR after that.

This book had me screaming in distress at a school cafeteria.

I mean, it's a classic. I didn't expect any less.
