Simply put, this book made me feel happy. The writing was lovely, and the world Towles created drew me in from page one. One of those stories you are sad to see end.

Started this audiobook on the drive back from dropping my daughter back at college. I must have looked like an idiot to the other drivers- I was alone in the car and laughing so hard! Such a funny book!

pickAnother #RITeenBookNominees. A HS cheerleader is drugged and raped at a summer cheerleading camp. The story is about how the main character responds to this trauma with the support of her best friend. Good book about a tough subject.

pickLaughed out loud at many parts of this audiobook. Great narrator! Once you accept the idea that a man would actually go through with a family vacation after his wife tells him she is going to leave him after the trip, it's great!😄

Ok, another Ron Rash novel, and it is not disappointing! I am not a good writer of reviews, but Ron Rash is just a great storyteller. Highly recommend this author. There is no connection between my big, sloppy pup and the story...just love posting him! #dogsoflitsy Also, love my new mini book light from #barringtonbooks !

pickI'm on a Ron Rash kick! Rash's writing puts you right there in this small Appalachian town where a murder is committed, and its ramifications are revealed through the eyes of five different characters. Great storytelling!

After only a few pages, I'm already sucked in. I love the writing style- although it's not a rainbows and puppies kind of book, that's for sure! Pretty sure I will stay up WAY too late reading this one.? I am loving all my YA reading, but was in need of a "grown up" book too! @monalyisha
