I read this when our first came out. I liked but I didn't love it. Couldn't understand why all the hype. Oh well, you can't live every book.
GREAT, phenomenal book for all ages! The depth of Yoon for all of her characters and subjects is a marvel.
My only beef is that I was so excited to find out it was a movie but then I could not watch sweet, normal sized 17 year old Daniel be played by a tall, manly, broad and macho 26 year old! So, READ this--do not watch the movie!
I was captivated by this book and really wanted to see how things turned out in the end for these young loves. This was a cute love story that took place over a day. I loved how it highlighted how one persons decisions could impact other people lives without them even knowing it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

How did you choose this book: Because I loved “Everything, everything“ by Nicola Yoon, I decided to check out her other books (this is one of them).
Write a brief summary of the novel; who was the protagonist; what was his/her problem and how was the problem resolved?
And love is not love if it‘s not requited, right?
Watched this YA movie adaptation on the plane this week! It was definitely cute and pretty similar to the book, but I definitely didn't like it as much as the book. Natasha wasn't as likeable on the screen, but still glad I saw it.
I also watched Booksmart which was hilarious and so much fun!
This book was riveting, and grabs your attention. It includes details that will blow your mind, and it creates vivid images in you mind of how the life of the 17 year-olds is and what kind of future this path they took leads them to. It is absolutely amazing, and really shows life from many perspectives, including minor characters and histories of things mentioned in the book. It dives into great detail of Daniel and Natasha's lives and impacts.

@Hooked_on_books, it totally feels like I'm cheating using yet another cover by #NicolaYoon, but I mean ?
Me: That was a cute movie.
Maya: Yeah, but the book was better.
Me: That‘s my girl. 😆💜
As much as we wanted to go on a hike and see some wild ponies today, none of us felt like being in the car for 5 hrs going to/from.
Lounging and reading won out, with a bike ride later this morning! I‘m hoping she‘ll finish up this book soon so we can watch the movie together this weekend.
Finished this one last night and really enjoyed it. It was a quick, easy read but also heartfelt. I really enjoyed the way the story was told, alternating between Daniel and Natasha‘s POVs with some of the side characters thrown into the mix with their POVs and little stories. The other two books are TBR for this weekend as book swaps. #bookcrossing #bookswaps #booktrades #weekendtbr
Finally got into this one. Really enjoying it so far.
"There‘s a Japanese phrase that I like: koi no yokan. It doesn‘t mean love at first sight. It‘s closer to love at second sight. It‘s the feeling when you meet someone that you‘re going to fall in love with them. Maybe you don‘t love them right away, but it‘s inevitable that you will."

Great commuter book. I am falling in love with every page. It‘s is not serious read, but it‘s heart felt and full of teenage angst. Beautiful blending of worlds and even random small characters. Haven‘t finished it but I really enjoy this author. #ya #immigration #ambw #interracial #Korean #Jamaican #sciencevsphilosohy #summerread
Be prepared to feel ALL the feels when you read this book. There were so many times where I laughed, I cried, I was angry. Any emotion you can think of I felt in this story. The way Nicola Yoon crafts her writing is so sharp and creative. She really knows how to suck you into a story and make you want to keep on reading! Even if you are not a fan of YA or romance, you WILL fall in love with this book!
