I really laughed a lot while reading this book. But then it was also kind of weird??? but the idea was good?? But somehow it was also this typical YA contemporary thing? It was not exactly my favourite book but it is definitely a cute read.

Hour of the bees 🐝 was one of my favourite reads last year. It's a middle grade about a twelve year old girl who has to spend her summer with her family at her mentally ill grandpa's place. He lives alone in the North American desert and the girl doesn't know yet that this summer might change her life. The book is beautifully written and heartwarming. I cried. A lot.

Even though this book was really fast in the beginning, I enjoyed it so much!! Seriously, the magic seems to pour out of the pages, the main character is awesome 💕
