Honestly, this was a great read. I have a great relationship with my daughter's first-grade teacher. We email almost daily, and we have bi-weekly phone calls about her academically and her behavior. That open communication between the parent and teacher works, and it does help. You meet in the middle and figure out what will be most effective in reaching a common goal you both have set for the child, and that's what this book teaches you.

I had the pleasure of receiving this book from Celadon Books uh n exchange for an honest review. This book was everything I never knew I needed. My conversations and relationships have improved a tad, just from me applying what I learned from this book. This book discusses how one can speak and listen with the intent to understand. Tupelo Honey, born 7 pounds and 3 ounces. She does not know her father, her mother is a drug-addict, her mother's boyfriend is a drug dealer, her uncles are a little “touched“ (something we say in the South), her grandfather died before she knew him, and her grandmother is doing her best to hold the family together.

I am so glad I discovered this gem through Kindle Unlimited!

The book discusses some heavy issues that most teens are going through in life; depression, trauma, death, divorce, jail, abandonment, and abuse. Trying to deal, forget, numb, or heal from the pain can be hard; coping is never easy. All it takes is someone willing to listen or someone willing to care to make a difference in a person's life.

So this is Royce's way of letting her know that even if he has something planned, something unbearable, for Raven; he would not be happy. Royce will always be my favorite Brayshaw boy.

Watching Maddoc fall hard for Raven and his internal struggle when he thought she betrayed him and his brothers was the cutest and most heartbreaking thing I ever read.

These boys were more than what I was ready for.

Omg, I am only on Ch. 3 and I am already in love with Shane. She is so freaking adorable. Her inner dialogue on her quest to be more outgoing and social is hilarious. She has a social anxiety which makes her a little more than awkward around others because she second guess herself too much. I am excited to see her complete her “list“.

I am excited for this book. I am a Prime member on Amazon and I got to choose the book I wanted to read as the first pick and this one won me over. This is Suzy Krause's debut novel, and it hits the shelves June 1st. I cannot wait to share my review of the book with you guys as soon as it's released, stay tuned.

I really enjoyed this book. The suspense of it captured me. I wanted to know the big secret and why everyone was always on edge. It disappointed me when I found out. I understand wanting to keep her safe from the “life“, but having her grow up to feel the way she felt in the beginning was wrong on so many levels. This book made me laugh, cry, angry, and even left me confused. I highly recommend you read this book if you have not already.

I wanted to like this book, but it reminded me too much of the book Fear Me by B.B. Reid. The book has too many similarities for me to appreciate what the author was trying to attempt. The guy, or in the case guys, hate the girl because of who they think she is or what they think she has done. The bullying begins and the only explanation for this is that I hate you, I have to hate you. As always, the victim falls for their tormentor (s).

The anticipation is killing me. I have read BBH over 20xs just to get my Brayshaw fix. From the few teasers Meagan has given us on IG I already know this book is about to be so f*cking good. #BrayGirl4Life #May28th
