Quick read, witty, and an interesting look into another culture. It's always nice to read something that validates your feelings, too. Like, yes, I do like small gatherings and cuddling in blankets by the fire. The Danes would approve.

When you're too far into the book to hold a bowl, get the fork into your mouth, and keep the book open at the same time. #booknerdproblems 😂

I'll be finished with this once I've finished my lunch.

Not going to lie. Kinda bummed by the shift from 1917 to 2006. ❤ Sophie.

Read this month's #mmdbookclub read, so now on to the flight pairings. 😄

In other news, I'm not even asking for spring anymore. I'm just asking for near normal temperatures. And could've done without the foot and a half of snow. We're going to need to buy more pellets to keep that fire going!!

Thanks to #mmdbookclub I now have somewhere else to add to my list of places I'd like to visit - Olson House in Maine. This was a good read. I didn't think I would like it, but I totally got sucked in. Helps when she's describing the screaming wind and your house is creaking and groaning from the wind gusting into it.

QuietBookReader This has been on my tbr forever!!! I keep hearing great things. Looks like I need to bump it up the list!! 🤓 8y
rmej28 It's been on mine for a while, too, @TheBookDiver. I was looking for a new read on OverDrive and it just happened to be available, so I took it as a sign. 😉 8y

This book is still relevant today. The copy I read had a forward from the author's daughter, who said children still write her mother letters 💕

This books was recommended to me by a friend and I enjoyed it so much!! While telling my friend, excitedly, how much I was enjoying it, I described it as reminding me of Eragon, without all the lost-boy, teenage angst. Haha.

Very interesting to me as a History major to imagine Napoleon having dragons.

Managed to get the book FIRST from the library!! This book as a vibrant cover, but as it is a library copy the polyester dust jacket cover made photographing difficult. I'm only 75 pages in but I love the tone. I love their loud house and Rosie and Penn's relationship. Can't wait for THIS discussion in #mmdbookclub!

LittlePixels Lucky! I'm on the hold list for it at the library, so I decided to spend an Audible credit and listen instead. 8y
rmej28 I put the hold on before it was published, and I just lucked out that no one reserved it before me! 8y

Trying a new app - Bookout. Add your book, start the counter, read, then when you're done stop the counter and enter your page/percentage. I haven't done a book I haven't been in the middle of already yet, but I like that it'll predict how much longer it'll take for you to finish a book. And you can product cool infographics!

I haven't read Pretty Little Liars, but this book definitely reminded me of the show.

I like historical fiction, but this is only the second I've read that's alternative history. Very interesting. The author did his research so that the alternate history feels real. Also made me think about our current state of politics.
