His mother was not scared of the dead. She believed the best way to keep malicious spirits at bay was to show confidence , which she considered herself to possess. Only self doubt would put you within reach of death's grip.

Taking it a little easy this week with this new chick lit from Sophie kinsella. I m half way through it still waiting for that laugh-out-loud part to kick in. Just not good enough like previous books. #ShopaholicSeries #WeddingNight #CanYouKeepASecret . Let's see if it manages to keep up with those books
Nothing better than a really good chicklit to cheer u up. Sophie kinsella does it in style. Have loved this one so much that I can just waltz through the entire book by reading the back and forth text messages between Sam and Poppy.

I like books that have characters who are strong enough to defy all the darkness that encroaches on lives of everyone.
As if my own future wasn't bleak enough, I also have to worry about what happens to Winston in 1984 by George Orwell!!! Personal rantings aside this is my first ever dystopian book. Very engaging and beautifully written.
