Had to take a break from everything for a few days due to some emergency at home. And there was a flood scare too. We were lucky to escape from the flood waters but some of our people were not. But no problem. We shall overcome.

I liked this one better than Hundred Year Old Man. The book is full of eccentric characters. And I'm a fan of Nombeko now. It is full of absurd adventures. Really interesting book.

Since I'm active on Twitter, most of the information in the book was nothing new for me. But worth a read.

Was going through an extremely difficult time in life. And I got a chance to volunteer at a book fair. Four days went by in between books. Made friends with fellow bookworms. That's us sorting through books and occasionally finding gems.

Repetitive. Horrible style of writing. I floated through the book. The author was deliberately trying to push some right-wing propaganda into the book. Such a waste of time. I'm feeling bad for wasting my time on this one.

Wildly entertaining. Candide's awful adventures are explored in a very funny way.

Magical realism at its best.

I suggest this book to everyone. Beautiful and powerful language. Anees Salim does black humour very well.

Mr Anees Salim is one of the best story tellers I have ever read. Awesome book. I really enjoyed reading it. I couldn't put it down.
