so-so

Loved the story. Loved the characters. Writing was good ... but I was confused. A lot. Wished editing had been tighter. Characters a tad more developed ( in dialogue only). And words cut! Less would‘ve been a lot more, in this case. Still though, very creative. Hoping the second is even better. And I‘d still recommend this book!

How much does a #mismatched series bother you? I'm so glad I finally found all the books from this trilogy, but now I have to decide how much the different versions bother me. I got the first from a used bookstore, the second from Book Outlet, and the third from Barnes & Noble. It's the story inside that counts, right? Right?

Riveted_Reader_Melissa @ElizabethAndino Looks like we have some of the same tastes. I read the Martian last year and loved it. Reader Player One is great on Audiobook if you haven't read it already, it's narrated by Whil Wheaton and he does a great job. Also try the Iron Druid Series by Kevin Hearne on audio it's very good. 8y
