🎃🎃for the most part I found this boring and unsatisfying. Plague, runaway, drive, drive, drive, eat food get to destination and never find out what the hells going on! Cool concept that‘s about it.

16 of 2022. Book 3 for #FabulousFebruary . A father and daughter try to survive a world where a deadly disease has taken over killing off the population. I enjoyed the bond between David and his daughter Ellie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

My feelings towards this are definitely skewed because of Covid. Although, Covid ain‘t got nothin‘ on Wanderer‘s Folly...cause that stuff is on another level. I found this to be good, but severely depressing at times (maybe this wasn't quite the right time for this). Like there was no hope for humanity whatsoever. It is fairly well written, though, with lots of action throughout.
A horror book with so much heart. I loved this story, and David and Ellie's father-daughter bond made the story that much better. A post-apocalyptic tale with moments that felt oddly relevant given our current state. Great October read! 4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫

A father and daughter try to survive the steady decline of all they know in this haunting thriller from award-winning author Ronald Malfi.
First the birds disappeared.
Then the insects took over.
Then the madness began...
Maann. This guy! I would be excellent in an apocalypse. I hate people. Not that I plan to survive one. #AmReading The Night Parade. #RIPXIII #Audiobook
What a great post-apocalyptic story! The Night Parade is scary, but very touching. There are some nice nods to Stephen King in this, namely The Stand and Firestarter, but the book is original and heartbreaking. This is my first Malfi book, but it won't be my last.
Ignore the blurb for this book. It has nothing to do with insects. Part The Stand (plague horror) and part Firestarter (father and daughter on the run) The Night Parade has a lot of heart. Suspenseful and well written. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
