My last and final #a2z book for this challenge, and I had to go off theme again due to my library's limited selection of 'Z' books. But it was a dreadful good time! 🧟‍♂️ I don't like zombies, but you can't help but adore Mortimer, and his quest for love. A fun book to finish off the first part of the challenge!

Oh my gosh...this book is hysterical! Fun for adults and kids. The illustrations and text are just wonderful!!

Funny and a little dark, but not so much that my 5-year old didn‘t like it. Poor zombie Mortimer just wants to find love. His personal ad is probably my favorite part. 😂

Feeling spoiled by @TheWordJar I have always wanted a copy of Zombie in Love and I have almost bought that coloring book more times than I can tell you. I now have a reason to finish Robopocolypse. Slide house looks interesting and I have seen a lot of people here who have read it. This is not a test looks interesting. Dark and twisted. Plus candy, bookmarks, and magnet. Plus witch socks. Bwaaahahaaaaa. Love it all. Thank YOU!!

A perfect picture book for this time of year! Mortimer is a lonely zombie dying (or undying?) to find his true love. With a face as drop-undead gorgeous as his, what's holding him back? Apparently a lot. Mortimer works himself to the bone doing everything he can think of to find his perfect mate. Will Mortimer ever find the true love he yearns for? It's a picture book, it doesn't take a lot of brains to figure that one out! 😊
