At the back of Frankensweets Candy Shoppe, under the last box of sour gumballs, theres a trapdoor. Knock five times fast, hand over the bag of squirmy worms, and you can crawl inside The Monstore. The Monstore is the place to go for all of your monsterly needs. Which is perfect, since Zack definitely has a monsterly need. The problem? His pesky little sister, Gracie, who never pays attention to that Keep Out sign on Zacks doorthe one he has made especially for her. But when Zacks monsters dont exactly work as planned, he soon finds out that the Monstore has a few rules: No Refunds. No exchanges. No exceptions.

Clever little book about a boy who tries to buy a monster to scare his little sister, and when things go awry, tries to return him. My son received it as a Halloween gift from a pal & he likes it. When big brother buys monsters to scare his sister from his room, things go horribly wrong. They become her friends instead. But little sisters still need a big brother to get rid of scary things. Great illustrations and a fun story. If you have a little girl who wants nothing to do with princesses, then you need to read this book.
