I like this book far less than the previous two. This one seemed a lot less entertaining and the boys seemed a lot meaner than in the first two books. The things the boys did to Ralph were rather cruel and mean. It almost reminded me of Lord of the Flies in a sense. Was an ok read. The author's sentence structure is a bit hard to follow but maybe that's just me. All-in-all I liked the first 2 books much better than this one.
Was about to plop this in the bag for library returns and then decided it would work well for #bookface. My son and I finished this one a couple of days ago. ❤️ Beverly Cleary. #januaryreads
I liked the first one in this series better. In this final book we are back with Ralph as he goes on a new adventure, this time to school. A friendship is formed between two lonely boys, poor Ralph is plopped in a fish bowl by a well-meaning teacher and lessons are learned about accurate reporting.
I completed my challenge! Did i fill the last 10 with children's books and novellas? Yes, yes I did. But with two kids under the age of 5 and a pretty tumultuous year, I feel good about it. Also, I discovered a whole list of children's classics that I want to work my way through. #comfortreading #goals
I loved this book so much! I would like to read it again and it's great.
