pickThis is a sad book, but really really well done. I was not a fan of the artist attempts to display the images through his understanding of what the animals would see, but I did appreciate the authors bringing attention to the horror of animal experimentation. This is the closest I want to come to a horror novel, and I give it 3/5 stars - it made me super sad and want to donate to PETA and the SPCA. This comic is worth reading.
so-soThe more comics/graphic novels I read, the more I think they just aren‘t for me. 😔 As I mentioned in my review of “Hey, Kiddo” my typical reaction after finishing one is usually something along the lines of, “Mmkay... Well, I read it...” 🤷🏽♀️ which is basically what happened with this. I‘m honestly not sure what to say about it, I just feel pretty indifferent to it. *Sigh* Maybe someday I‘ll find one that‘ll click with me...

pickIn order to save human lives, an experimental program is developed to weaponize animals. When a new line is developed, the government decides to decommission the WE3 line, but they escape the facility and search for “home.”
This story really pulls at the heart but animals get hurt in this so a tempered recommendation. 😢#letsgetgraphicweeklongmarathon
