pickLeslie Feinberg was both a poet and a theoretician. This book is a beautiful weaving together of personal narratives as well as queer history and theory. Feinberg shares with us in this book their vision for a radically transformed world and inspires us to believe it is possible. A true revolutionary whose words I will be returning to over and over again.

Absolutely fantastic. Written as a series of speeches and “portraits” of trans people. It‘s incredibly heartening to read these in this political climate. It feels like not only are people like me part of history, we are important in history. We have always been here, and we will keep fighting.

Had a great night last night celebrating Trans Pride with family and friends! It was my beloved trans niece's first Trans Pride and it was so amazing to march through the streets with her full of cheering, supportive people and positive, affirming messages.
