I am currently reading this book. There is nothing better than reading a good psychological thriller on a cold, rainy night at the end of September! What are all my followers reading these days?

Texreader Reading one of my faves, The Historian, again. Perfect for fall weather 4y
bookworm92 @Texreader I will check that one out! Thanks for the suggestion :) 4y

This is the 32nd Alex Delaware novel I have read. It was a bit of a slow burn initially, but it picked up and kept me turning the pages. I enjoy the main characters and even though the books are a tad formulaic, they entertain me - which is exactly what I always hope for. There was also a cameo appearance by Jacob Lev from the Golem of Hollywood series that I thought was a nice touch.

Squeezing in a few pages before I begin my weekend of studying and house cleaning 😕

I'm too tired to think, so I am casting my homework aside and digging into this new Kellerman with a glass of wine. I'm going to enjoy it - sentence fragments and all 😉

Scored this like-new hardcover at Fair's Fair Used books today - it shall be my reward to read when I am done this weeks assignment for my copy editing course. The Alex Delaware novels by Jonathan Kellerman are a guilty pleasure of mine 😊

This has been sitting by my bed for months. Time to read?

mjdowens Anything Jonathan Kellerman is a "time to read". ? 7y
saguarosally @mjdowens I think it's the last one I have left to read of the Alex books. 7y
KathyWheeler I had hated Flesh and Blood, which I read before this one; so glad that book didn't make me give up on Kellerman because I liked Heartbreak Hotel. (edited) 7y

I think this may be my first Jonathan Kellerman novel. I found it entertaining enough to try another by this author.

Bailedbailed

I very rarely bail on a book, especially by an author that I've read before. Like every single book he's ever written🙁. I've solved a lot of cases with Milo and Alex but I made it to page 150 and NOTHING had happened. The crime happened right at the beginning and then nothing. Hopefully, when I have nothing to read I'll get back to it.

Andrew65 Every author can have their off book. 7y
Booknerd2 @Andrew65 this is very true!! I've got several others to read right now so maybe I was too impatient! 🤔 7y
Andrew65 @Booknerd2 You can look at it two ways, either you were too impatient or the author didn't capture your interest quickly enough! ☺️ 7y
Booknerd2 @Andrew65 I even put my Maisie Donna Messenger of Truth aside because I will probably be able to renew that one and knew there were holds for Hotel. 😢 Can't wait to get back to Maisie 7y
Andrew65 @Booknerd2 I have downloaded the next one, An Incomplete Revenge, and might get to it this weekend. A bit more time to read this weekend because of the Bank Holiday on Monday. 7y

Sometimes you need a comfort read. Ok, the story is disturbing but Alex and I have had many an evening together.

Booknerd2 I've read them all!!! ❤️Alex and Milo are family!!😂🤣 7y

Sometimes, I get a half hour between jobs to reset. Yesterday, as the frigid wind howled outside, I spent thirty minutes reading (and loving!) this California-based story while in the company of warm sunbeams and furry heartbeats. I am a lucky girl. #catsoflitsy #dogsoflitsy #downtime
