We‘ve been renovating our kitchen since we moved here which included doubling its size and adding a wall of cabinets for my collection of dishes and cookware.

Three contractors and fourteen months later: I‘ve just put the very first things inside my cabinets. What went first? My beloved cookbooks, of course! I have had most of them packed away for months and months. Now I can finally re-join the #mtcookbook fun!! #shelfie

LiteraryinPA Beautiful! Enjoy the new space! 3mo

I think this has to be the most random object I‘ve found in the Children‘s Library. We gets lots of clothing, toys, water bottles, rocks, leaves and sticks- but this is new.
Anyone else have some favorite “lost in the library” items?
#publiclibrarian

LibrarianRyan Hummm. That might be hard to replace depending on the model of the machine. 6y
BookInMyHands @LibrarianRyan Yeah, I posted about it on the library‘s Facebook page with a reminder about our Lost and Found, so hopefully it will find home! 6y
LibrarianRyan @BookInMyHands you asked what things we found in our library and I couldn't think of anything upstanding until now. Currently I have someone's cane sitting on the reference desk. It s a nice customized medical cane that has been here over a week. Our building is quite large and I'm not exactly sure how the person made it out of the building without it. 6y
BookInMyHands @LibrarianRyan We had one too! I usually only save Lost and Found for a month, but I kept this one for 3 hoping someone would come back to claim it- no luck. 6y

I love this! #feedareader @MinDea @TricksyTails

1. Indian, Korean, Mexican, Middle Eastern...but really, I like everything
2. Is pie a theme?
3. I HATE gadgets. No space
4. Strange Practice/Shaw, North/Aurell, This Darkness Mine/McGinnis, Cake/Levene, Jane, Unlimited/Cashore. I'm also extremely partial to culinary cozies!
5. Both!
6. Honestly, nothing. I've been building my kitchen for many years, and I'm way more interested in fun ingredients.

Books in the kitchen...yay/nay?

TheLibrarian I'd be worried about them getting dirty/greasy. 8y
Mimi28 We have books in our dining room on the mantle where I suppose family photos should be. Maybe if they are cookbooks? They are really high up though so like @TheLibrarian said just be careful ❤️👍😊📚 8y
LauraBrook Yay! 8y
StrawberryShortcake85 I agree with TheLibrarian. 7y
