Over 100 pages in and still hasn't caught my interest... In going to put it aside for a bit and come back to it... I hope.
My dream life: Seclusion. Peace and quiet. Tiny cottage. Lots of trees and wildlife. Silent but for nature.
Mom's house, Mom's book, Mom's leftover birthday cake 🎉💖🍰
It was great. It was a little slow in places, but I still really enjoyed it. I will be reading the next one in the series when it comes out.
Love! So good! If you enjoy books about quaint English villages and all the quirky people who live in them, you'll enjoy this book. I can't wait to read the next one!
Reminds me of poor Mrs. Bennett! Her poor nerves! #prideandprejudice
Lunchtime reading. I've been looking forward to this one.
I wish Litsy had a more nuanced rating system, this wasn't amazing but it was better than so-so. Family drama, slow burn read, a little religious, had a little mystery, had some romance, and is setting itself up for a series. Won't pick up the other books in the series as this book wasn't my style, but it was an enjoyable book to read - even if it took a few tries.

It seems I only have books with subtle flowers on the cover. These are all recommended #inspirationalromances, two are #Regencyromance and one is #colonialAmerican.
Sleep tight, littens! It's a snowing buckets here in Minnesota. Hope you are safe and warm, wherever you are! 🌨
At the book launch party for Julie Klassen's new book! The first in her first ever series. It's a Regency-era village series in the vein of Lark Rise to Candleford and Cranford. She and her husband both dressed up in period dress for the occasion 👗🎩
