This cover makes me so hungry #beewilson #foodbooks #nonfiction
This is my first horror book since I am a big ol baby. I really enjoyed it though! "Monsters are real. Ghosts are too. They live inside of us, and sometimes, they win."
Stephen King, The Shining (The Shining #1)
I watched the movie when it first came out and always wondered if the book was better because I didn't love the movie. The book wasn't any better. It fell a little flat.
Another favorite and the last book for my 2017 book challenge ❤️
An old favorite. I have always loved this book and it deserved a re-read!
This book has some beautiful and eerie quotes in it and I thought the premise was really interesting. The execution was a little off. This book was a mess. There is a mixture of reality and fantasy and I'm still not 100% how much of which was which. There was a lot of kissing and strange relationships. The "surprise" ending was a bit of a let down and didn't answer very many questions. I am still confused!
Love this one. It has been awhile since I reread them all, but they are just as amazing the 483,837,847,883rd time as the first time. ???? "It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be." -Albus Dumbledore
I like to listen to audiobooks while driving and cleaning. This one was to satisfy my inner 13 year old. I loved the movies, but this is the first time I have read the book. It was fun and enjoyable. Mia is so much fun. Some of the book is a little outdated technology-wise, but it didn't detract from the book. Loved it!
Starting my favorite book of the series!
❤️❤️❤️ This was so good!!! I love books with strong female friendships as the focus. There aren't enough of those portrayed in books, tv, or movies. This book was engaging the whole way through. It isn't your typical WW11 book. It is very different than what I have read before. Highly recommend!
Loved it! It was short and the perfect length for a car ride!
Ahhhhhhh. I'm home again.
This was a cute little book! It wasn't a terrific or life changing book really, but I enjoyed it. It was fun and light. I think middle schoolers and young teens would really like it. Cecelia and Kate have a great relationship.
I wasn't very into this book until about half way through, then I couldn't put it down. I was 100% in love with the characters halfway through. I haven't seen an approach to story telling in this way before. I thought the letters would make it difficult to read, but this book couldn't have been written in any other way. Love it!
This was a great book. I read the Finishing School series before this one. This one was a lot more mature. I wouldn't recommend this for middle school! Very interesting concept and Gail Carriger kept me interested the whole time!
Wow! What a wild ride. I read this as my "bestseller from a genre you don't normally read" book for the Popsugar Reading Challenge. Since I don't usually really thrillers this was very suspenseful for me. Hopefully I will sleep tonight! I did enjoy the book, even though it wasn't my usual.
Wow. What a beautiful breath of fresh air. This book really made me stop to think about the importance of singing in the Christian life and in worship service. I highly recommend this for Christian parents, pastors, and anyone in the ministry of music. Wonderful. I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review.
I really loved this book. It was fun and lighthearted. I LOVE the main character, Ace. She is wonderfully flawed and hilarious. I want her to be my best friend! I highly recommend for a fun summer read.
I read this for my Facebook book club. It was alright, but I left with so many questions. It felt incomplete to me.
It was great. It was a little slow in places, but I still really enjoyed it. I will be reading the next one in the series when it comes out.
I listened to the audiobook while driving to my family's house for the weekend. It was a perfect short length for the 1 hour trip there and 1 hour trip back.
This book was written by a church friend and it was good for the time in my life I am in. You can tell she really means everything she writes and it is founded in biblical truth.
Wow, this book! I would highly recommend it for anyone with an abnormal relationship to food. Her story is amazing and inspiring. She didn't hold back with her life or her feelings. A+ & 5 Stars from me!!!
Not great, not terrible. It was pretty predictable. Easy reading with two beautiful and rich main characters who pretend to be married and fall in love even though they aren't supposed to. It's just like every other cheesy romance novel out there.
I do not understand the hype with this book. Suicide is a difficult topic to tackle, but there had to be a better way than this. It seemed very contrived by the author. I would not recommend this for anyone struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts. The suggested glorification of suicide isn't worth the good that might be gotten out of the idea that what we say and do to people affects them way more than we realize. Not a fan.
LOVED this book. I don't read mysteries, but I really enjoyed this book. The ending was amazing and all the characters were so interesting. It kept me guessing.
I ended up really enjoying this book. It was different than anything I had read before. The characters felt real. I'm glad they ended up splitting in the end. Sometimes people are just in our lives for a season. Sometimes seeming great relationships just don't work. Situations can break a relationship or make it stronger. Not everything always wants up 100% perfect. That isn't how life works!
Getting ready to start on this vintage beauty. 😆 It all reads the same, right?
This was an amazing middle school book. I highly recommend it for that age group. I'm 27 and it made me stop and think for sure. #dontbeajulian
This book was cute and fluffy, although not very "Amish." I haven't read a lot of Amish Fiction since I was younger, but this one was very loose with community rules. Cell phones, really? It was a little too light of a read for me.
It was a very basic overview on decluttering, it only brushes the edges. It seems more like a long blog post or article than a book. It might be a good starting place for a beginner who wants to know a little more, but not a great resource for someone who takes minimalism seriously. It is not a bad book, but there is better out there for sure.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one so far. I'm about 75% done. It will all come down to the ending I guess!
Loved it, especially after watching the new Wonder Woman movie!
I read this book a long time ago and couldn't remember much of it. It is a great classic that leaves you believing in miracles. The plot is time setting is unique, a wonderful book for young readers and adults!
It took me awhile to get into this book, but one I got about 25% in I started to really enjoy it. There were lots of twists and turns, some of them expected and some of them not. I would really recommend Jodi Picoult's books to anyone who enjoys hard issues and topics.
