Wow, I‘m cruising through my TBR list in 2025. This is book 19 so far! As an avid historical romance fan, I‘m no stranger to Eloisa James. This is from her backlist. Really enjoying it so far! #romance
Thank you, Leah, for this delightful package. I am particularly pleased with Bath Tangle because I have a couple of other Heyer‘s in this format. And, yes, the Kloester is an essential resource for a Heyer fan 😊. I love the teacup card too. It is so kind of you to think of me 😘. And I did follow your instruction 😆
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really all you need to say is a reluctant Duke & a strong-willed Regency era woman and I am already a fan.
Add in some excellent side characters, beautiful writing, and it‘s a contender for favorite romance of the year 😻
Another delightful surprise today! This gorgeous vintage hard cover of my new favourite Georgette Heyer book from an antiquarian book dealer in Brisbane. Which of you lovely people arranged this?
Just finished my Mars Rover Perseverance and the tagged #audiobook.
A "Importance of Being Earnest" kind of story. Cousins Bella and Izzy are in London for the season. Noble born Izzy isn't feeling up to making her debut and since it's her aunt, the duchess, who keeps mixing up the two young women, they decide to make the most of this. Mix up, misunderstandings, but eventually happy matrimony for both cousins.
Low pick
I‘ve enjoyed all the Heyer books I‘ve read, but this one takes the cake! Not so much a romance as a straight out comedy - it is hilarious! Sophy is an unforgettable character. This is another book borrowed from my Heyer loving friend. I am going to have to buy myself a copy for when (not if) read it again.
