#20in4 #Challenge2021

Cute book with simple instructions and how-to‘s for beginners.

As someone who is already fairly familiar with Mindfulness however, I found it to be repetitive. There are however, a few different poses/techniques that I look forward to trying out.

Mom gave me this one when we moved back home in 2019. Maybe now is the right time to open it?!? Jumped into my tiny purse last night so, I‘ll take it as a sign!

I received this little book for xmas and I'm trying to practise a little each day....2020 has been a rollercoaster but I have so much to be thankful for. This is a lovely little reminder to take a minute, take a breath and enjoy the ride 💛 #readyfor2021

I love this book had ages. Read it while ago and picked it back up again and now sits in my work bag to re focus on breaks. Been off a week and been nice to actually put it into practice. Even recycled my birthday cards and used as book mark. Why not !

I leave a book in each of my bathrooms. They all are ten to fifteen minute mindful moments to remember. I call it my bathroom book time. I have 5 kids bw 13 to 4. I don't get a lot of time to myself except during the early morning or in the evening. I keep this book in my bathroom. I read it while I'm washing my face, doing my make up, or brushing my teeth. It helps me start my day off well and end my day well. #bathroombooks #mindfulliving #omgrl

Belated world mental health day post.

I know it's snarky, but if you suffer from mental health problems you know you will feel like this sometimes when people tell you stupid things.

Up to my twenties people regularly told me I would "grow out of" my mental health problems.
My reaction: ????

Also: I recommend Patrizia Collard's books, she is my therapist and wonderful.

AmyG I remember telling someone once....Depression isn‘t an allergy. 😳 (I grew out of my allergies) (edited) 6y
zsuzsanna_reads @AmyG that's a good one! My mum's allergies got a lot worse with age, so it could work both ways too 😀 6y
AmyG I guess I am lucky that mine got less severe. Ah, life! 😝 6y

quietlycuriouskate And then they smile brightly and say "everyone has bad days" or "everyone has worries" or even "things could be a lot worse". Why, if someone says they have anxiety and depression, would they lob a hand grenade like that at them?! 6y

scowler1 “God won‘t give you more than you can handle” said a work colleague to me after I was diagnosed, knowing damn well I'm an atheist. Yeah, that really helped. 6y

Although half of what was in the book is what I try to practice daily anyway this book was still a great read. Definitely recommend it for anyone knew to being more mindful, meditation, and yoga.

Several grammatical errors made it difficult for me to find serenity. Ha! Much of the content is exceedingly basic. Regardless, there are a a couple tidbits that people may enjoy/find useful.
