Unfinished novels

Why do I have so many unfinished books! I think I counted 22. I‘m I the only one? Please say I‘m not the only one.

Palimpsest No, you‘re not the only one. I‘m not sure how many I have unfinished. Some I guess I intend to finish and others I‘m not sure if I‘m bailing or just taking a long break. ðŸ˜Š 4y

CaroPi I learn to let go books recently. Also if a novel is not really doing it to me. You are not the only one. Sometimes you just need to let it go or give a break to the book. 4y

julesG You are not alone. I recently picked up a book that's been #hibernating on the shelf for over a decade. I'm certain my number of unfinished/hibernating books is similar to yours. 4y

I find it so hard to DNF books!! I feel restless whenever I do that! This is just something I found to convince myself that it is okay to #DNF ! I need to learn to stop forcing myself to read books I do not enjoy! What do you think Littens?â¤

TK-421 I feel your pain! I have trouble bailing too, but I'm trying to learn be OK with it because my tbr list is so long. I'm too stubborn to quit sometimes. I think part of me holds out hope that the book will redeem itself by the end. The other part of me wants to know exactly how bad the book is so I know what I'm talking about when I complain ðŸ˜‚ 6y

I think I‘ve finally come to terms with the fact I am not going to meet my reading challenge this year. It‘s been a hectic year and I was often too distracted to read. Here‘s to #2018!
