This is my first book of the year and I really enjoy it. The book doesn't focus on the romance but more on Anna, the main character and the road that she has to go to learn to accept herself and her condition. I highly recommend it. Beautiful written. Amazing story

I made my reading goal... Yes.. Nevertheless I feel that in 2021 I didn't get into my books... Kind of a reading slump... For some reason I didn't enjoy books as much as I usually do 🤷🏼‍♀️. Nevertheless they are some accomplishments and I am ready to twist these results in 2022!

The stats come from #thestorygraph

ShyBookOwl I had a similar experience this year. I bailed on more books than I care to count. I'm a mood reader and this year my mood was all over the place, so it was challenging to maintain interest in every book I picked up. I ended up reading about a dozen books less than previous years 🤷🏽‍♀️ 3w
CaroPi @ShyBookOwl I am glad to see I am not alone on this! 2w

This book is called in English The Choice. And yes is a hard book. No it doesn't focus on her experience in Auschwitz. It focus on the importance of healing. She uses her experience as well as the experience of some of her patients to show us the long road to heal. Highly recommended!

I enjoy this book a lot. Is more hard science than what I usually read but I like it. It has an interesting story and it makes you believe it. I think it will stay with me a long time and that is what it makes a good book. I v know they will make a movie but I can't imagine a movie ever makings justice to Rocky. My favorite character

So I am listening to this third book... I love her narration... And I am in this chapter and I could help but crying... I usually do not cry with books... Not even true crime. But all of the stories with her voice... I just couldn't help it. I admire her so much!

Linsy She's incredible! I'm reading in the bath and crazy laughing and then crying right after another. I probably sound crazed, but I just connect with her stories so much!! 9mo

Is not easy for me to cry with a book. Movies... All the time. But after this one I need it a good box of tissues... So many feelings. I also cried at the end of the third book of the hunger games. Maybe I am the only one... They are books that make me feel sad but cry.... This two as far as I remember. I didn't even cry with #thefaultinourstars was sad... Maybe I am a bit insensitive with books 🤷🏻‍♀️
