I started teaching at my local community college and have been frustrated by the fact that I don‘t have any training as an educator - I don‘t have an education degree. This has helped open my eyes to the way we learn so that I can adjust the way I teach. Very interesting information for students and teachers alike.

10/10, five stars, two enthusiastic thumbs up ???? A fun, engaging text about the best practices for learning. It's extra appealing to me because not only is "the medium the message" (it's written in a style that forces you to use retrieval, elaboration, spaced learning practices they advocate) but every "example character" is referenced using she/her pronouns ??

This book has already changed the way I will approach the classroom, and then it drops bombs like this. #learning #dyslexia #nonfictionnovember
