Another hilarious essay by Irby and completely relatable to me and my 2023 refusal to give a f*ck about resolutions or a “Word of the Year.”
Samantha Irby is always a relatable read for me, and one that's guaranteed to make me laugh. This is only about 25 pages long (when I read it on my phone), and is basically a list of resolutions and why she didn't complete them. Not life-changing, but I enjoyed it
I guess I'm too cynical to be a #NewYearNewYou person; I vibe much more with Sam Irby's take. That said, mad respect for folks who take this time of year to set goals and make resolutions! You are focused and motivated and totally #admirable! #InspiredNewYear #JumpIntoJanuary

According to her DNA test, IRBY is 100% that B!TCH! 😎 this was a quick read and a lot of fun. I‘m still astounded by her ability to put regular life struggles into words and make them a) outrageously hilarious and B) so relatable that you feel such a comfort in knowing other people do this stuff too! My hat is OFF to her. She is among my fave authors and I‘m waiting with bated breath for the next installment in spring 2020!! 😃

If you‘re really bad at keeping resolutions, you like snarky, and need a laugh, give this Vintage Short Original 30 minutes of your life.

Funny ‘cause it‘s true.
Loved this very short book (99 cents on Kindle) that was recently recommended by a friend when we were talking about new year‘s resolutions. If yo have already given up on this year‘s resolutions or don‘t like making them, this hilarious book is worth a quick read.
Already feeling a little daunted by the new year and I needed a pick-me up. I don‘t think author has ever made me laugh so hard. I crack up at almost every page. Her humor just works for me.
Hoping to post more regularly in 2018!
Well now, that was a year, eh?
