My partner also said they Seoul‘s read it to me as they also thought it sounded like a good one.

My first Oden & I enjoyed it, i liked the magic system but would of liked more. Loved the fight scenes and the characters especially Grimnir, his backstory was interesting. A story of revenge and growth, I recommend this one. However, religion is prominent in the first part, it does fade out as the story progresses, This didn't bother me but thought I'd put that out there 4⭐️ #grimdark #bookgeek #booknerd #bibliophile #bookreview #review #reader

I wanted to l love this but I didn't. This is a revenge story and while I appreciated all the bloodshed and the bits of history and mythology and the unique twist on an Orc, I didn't really like the way the religious aspects overshadowed everything else. I don't mind religion in books but the way it was expounded upon really irritated me to the point where it affected my overall enjoyment. Grimnir was an interesting character though.
