Who doesn‘t love Icelandic noir? Beautifully written with well developed interesting characters. I particularly liked Ari and will follow his exploits to the next in this series. Some nice twists as well. But the star of the show was Iceland. I loved visiting there and hope to actually go there.
1. Taking rain walks with my daughter.
2. Lovely book of poems, with pictures based on the editor and illustrator and their family. I'm sad to learn Rogasky died in 2011.

1. I actually love to watch it snow. ❄️
2. The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats
Thanks for the tag @dabbe
This was a book that absolutely did not grab my attention, I sensed an unreliable narrator who does things that make no sense; I went into it thinking it might be a devastating immigrant story, but once I put it down and then a few days go by, and then when I do open it back up with low motivation and hit a snag (drawn curtains are closed! Not open), WHAT DO I Do? I find many of my friends loved it. #sigh A case of “it‘s me, not the book.”
Thanks @TheSpineView for the #Two4Tuesday tag! 🤗
1️⃣ That it gets cooler here, although it‘s been slower to get there this year. (I thought it might be me getting older & “running hotter”😅 but everyone I know feels it‘s a warmer year. Darn global warning. 😡
2️⃣ A favorite childhood classic never fails to make it feel like winter! ❄️🩵❄️
