so-so3⭐️ This is an interesting story of Chinese New Year. Shen is going to be a dragon dancer, and dance bad luck away in the shopping mall. With only a little knowledge of Chinese New Year, this book is a bit hard to understand, but the author gives more detail in the end. The story is interesting and makes me want to learn more. Plus, the artwork is gorgeous.

The book I'm reading isn't in the database (have suggested it). New Swancon GoH announced - Joyce Chng- so it was off to the bookstore to do my homework! I chose The Tale of Yin to start with because it is blurbed as a feminist YA novella, and all three of those things are right in my wheelhouse.
