I share this for the humor. I have been missing my February #BOTM box which shipped out on 2/1 & still hasn‘t arrived, although my March box got here on 3/7. I emailed #BOTM & they gave me a free book credit (nice) & told me they would send replacements if there was no update after 30 business days from the last tracking date (2/7 it departed San Francisco). Anyway I have been checking on it a few times a week & finally this Wed it showed it was⬇️
DebinHawaii …in Pago Pago. I put in a USPS inquiry about it & a very nice Hawaii post office worker called me & said they were sorry, it was put in the wrong barge from SF. So it was on the slow-slow barge for 7673 km to Samoa instead of the slow-ish 2383 km barge from SF to Honolulu. Now it has to go back on a barge & go 4195 km from Pago Pago to Honolulu. ⬇️ (edited) 1mo
DebinHawaii …The best part was when I asked the guy how long he thought that might take & he was like “Well, it could be another few weeks” as apparently Pago Pago doesn‘t have regular mail barge service all that often, usually (optimistically ) maybe once weekly or bi-weekly… I have to laugh as my box is better traveled than I am. I hope it‘s having a good time & wearing its sunscreen! 😂😂😂☀️🌈 (edited) 1mo

marleed Oh wow! I sent my sister a local Pre Super Bowl t-shirt with what should have been plenty of pre-game arrival time. It was late and I forgot to get the tracking info. Damn, it was January/February and we really wanted to know if that t-shirt was sunning on a beach somewhere! But Pago Pago🤣🤣 1mo
