As a child, David Attenborough, this tv series and book lit a flame of curiosity and passion in me that has lasted throughout my lifetime. I'm always looking to connect with like-minded folks.

I've not come across any nature based groups etc on Litsy, so I'm going to have a go at building a community using the #naturalitsy
I really hope it gets used and takes off so we can move towards regular discussions, readalongs etc.

Please join me ❤️

AllDebooks @MilesnMelodies would you be interested? 2y
wordslinger42 That sounds fun! What kind of books are you thinking of reading? This is my current read 2y
AllDebooks @wordslinger42 see, I've already added your current book!! Atm it's about building interest but I was thinking anything and everyting nature related including fic, non-fic, essays, poetry. Anything goes really. 2y

wordslinger42 @AllDebooks I didn't know Paul De Gelder wrote a book! I'm excited to read that 😊 I'm definitely in for this group! I'll tag @LitsyEvents and they could repost for you! 2y
MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm I can‘t promise regular participation from myself as I am a new mama trying to figure out my new normal, but I am definitely interested in a nature based group! ❤️ 2y
AllDebooks @MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm aww that's great. Congratulations on becoming a Mama, it's the best. Enjoy every minute. x 2y

rockpools Hi, and maybe a belated welcome to Litsy? I‘m not great at group reads right now, but I‘ll certainly be following the hashtag 🌱 2y
AllDebooks @rockpools Hi 👋 thank you, I love Litsy. It's just baby steps atm and grateful for anyone wanting to join in, in whichever way. It's all about connecting, book reviews, sharing knowledge, events etc 2y
Chrissyreadit I love this idea! 2y
BookwormAHN I'm interested and welcome to Litsy 😺 2y
Blackink_WhitePaper Hi, I like to join you for the discussion 🥰 it is great idea to connect like minded people. Every month I will read at least one book related to nature ( both fiction / NF) Last month I read Where the crawdads sing. This month I am reading 2y
AllDebooks @Blackink_WhitePaper welcome, great to have you join in. Phosphorescence is in my chosen pile this month. How beautiful is the cover? I read Crawdads recently too, not sure why it took me so long to get round to it. It was amazing but I just finished Elif Shafak's book which was even better, if you can believe it! 2y
AllDebooks @BookwormAHN 👋 thank you and welcome, glad to have you join us. This is going to be awesome 👌 2y
AllDebooks @Chrissyreadit thanks, I'm so thrilled. It has great potential. 2y

I could listen to David Attenborough read my grocery list and be riveted! He is that good. His superior narration skills add depth to this compendium of the history of life on earth. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and know that I will listen to it again. It is chock-a-block with interesting information, so much so that I found myself re-listening to various chapters. Well worth a read, or maybe several! 5/5⭐️

UwannaPublishme Great review! Now I want to listen to his narration. Hope you‘re doing well, my friend. I hear it‘s pretty cold over there. Bundle up and keep warm! 🤗 2y
PurpleyPumpkin @UwannaPublishme I‘m on the hunt for more of his audiobooks. 😉 It has been cold but getting a bit warmer. I wish I could say that was going to last, but I think we‘re going back to the deep freeze soon. I‘ll be sure to bundle up! 2y
UwannaPublishme We‘ve got rain coming this weekend. At least this weather gives us a reason to stay in and read. 😆 2y
