Gregor Maravilla doesn't want much. Just to feed all the starving children. That's why he goes to Camp Save the World, a summer program for teen activists who care about making a difference. What could be better? It's almost perfect. Except some of these causes are kind of...strange. Like Eat Dirt--a campaign started by up-and-coming actress Ashley Woodstone. Gregor wasn't a fan of her work before, and he's certain she's only there now because of her fame. But Gregor is determinged to not let her ruin his experience. And then the contest is announced. That's when the sabotage starts. They want to see who can do the most good. But that leads to the most bad. No good deed goes unpunished.

Did I know that I needed a YA contemporary about a camp for social justice warriors? No, BUT I DID. This was so funny, and so real, and I flew through it. Plus Gregor is half Mexican but looks white (like me!) and I had never truly seen myself in a book before. I read an ARC that I got at BookCon, but I'm definitely going to go buy a copy of this beauty. ❤

Save the whales! Feed the poor! Dump the Trump! All activism has to start somewhere, particularly if you are a bright eyed teen wanting to save the world at a specialty summer camp. Add to that a big prize, cutthroat competition, and a Hollywood celebrity and you have a mix for disaster in this satirical sequel to Kill The Boy Band.

A quick, quirky, funny read, perfect for summer TBRs. An original plot+a cast of kooky characters had me constantly chuckling out loud. A summer camp for teen activists starts out normal enough, albeit with the exception of an eccentric celebrity camper who eats dirt, but things quickly turn to wild antics and camper sabotage when a holy grail of a prize is announced...finished with just the right amount of heartwarming camaraderie. #arc #review

I'm really enjoying this so far! It's such a fun story about a summer camp for teen activists and I keep finding myself chuckling out loud at some of the silly situations these campers keep being stuck in. #arc #nogooddeed #summercamp #funny #campsavetheworld #summerread #ya

"So you're just going to sit in a canoe, holding a protest sign? Shouting at people? You could drown!"
? I think I'm going to find this one enjoyable. Heheh

So this cover isn't exactly exciting, but every time I see it I get Wicked stuck in my head. #coverlove
