Starting this audiobook today, very hopeful so far...if it‘s anything like ‘The Missing Ones‘ it‘s going to be an exciting story.

zguta Suspenseful story —but sometimes I want to yell at Lottie “stop being an idiot” she keeps running forward chasing shadows.... she should sit & think things through but then of course she wouldn‘t be Lottie. 5 stars 👍🏼 3y

I'm finding it hard to read during all of this, but the beautiful weather is definitely helping.

Guys, I tried. I gave this book a little more than 100 pages to pick up the pace, and really get into the murder investigation(s?), but it was too slow for me.

My first DNF and I feel like I'm abandoning the author. But I tried. I really did 😔

In order to sleep all day tomorrow so I'm rested for an overnight shift tomorrow night, I am taking the opportunity to drink wine and read all night long. Sometimes the retail life has GREAT perks 😂🍷 #winenot

After 7 months of living in TX, I FINALLY went and got me a library card. Naturally, I had to check out a book right away 😁

The Stolen Girls is packed with plot twists and misleading details that will keep you guessing about the truth and it took me a long time to figure it all out. I just love when that happens! I can really recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a well written detective thriller with a complex and rich plot, a lot of action and a healthy dose of kickass personality!

"She pulled her hand free, now conscious of the seclusion around them. Not even a bird sang in the branches overhead."

*insert Jaws theme here* Uh oh... I'm having the feeling things are going to become intense. Even Lila wants to find out what is happening! ?

An author to watch out for although I found some scenes a little bit gruesome the book was so well written and the story was always moving with so many aspects coming into play. I had not read the first book and kind of wished I had as it would have given me some history but you can read this as a stand alone book as well. Looking forward to the next book by Patricia gibney
