Loving ACOTAR so far!! Suffering from a bad concussion so I'm only able to read for a few minutes at a time if I'm lucky. Not good when all I want to do is read this amazing book! 😭😞

We are always in a hurry and planning our next adventure. We often don't stop to cherish the present because we are focused on the future.
Take a step back, breathe and beautiful things will happen. Trust in the process and timing.
If you really treasure something and value the outcome, you don't rush through it. You go slow and steady and marvel at the journey.

Here is my tattoo for my grandma.
Everything in this piece represents something special. The flowers surrounding are her & my moms birth month flowers - Violet, Primrose, Iris.
The handwriting is from a recent birthday card.
And the feather and marsh flower is from my favourite book that she read and likes too...Where The Crawdads Sing.
My grandma is one of the most important and influential people in my life.
We found out some news that has been weighing heavy on my heart the past few days.
We share a love for books so I wanted to share with my Litsy community what I'm doing for her.
Tonight I'm getting a bookish tattoo that has a lot of meaning in it. It will incorporate my favourite book that we read together, Crawdads 💜 🪶

Today marks my 1 year anniversary of being clean and sober! It is surreal to say I haven't had a sip of alcohol or touched hard drugs in over a year now!
After my dad passed away I became severely depressed and turned to alcohol and drugs to cope with my grief.
During my recovery books have helped me tremendously. I love getting lost in a good book.
I wish you all health and happiness for 2022 💜
