Putting a pause on ACOTAR series (I just can't bring myself to start the 3rd book even though everyone says it's the best...). Hoping this one will get me out of my reading slump. Beautiful cover and it sounds very intriguing! Maybe my library 3 week deadline will force me to actually finish it 😅
pickAn easy read and very enjoyable. A few moments of spice and erotica but not overwhelming. It got me out of my reading slump and thinking about what I want from my mundane life. I love the beautiful cover art. There were a lot of places and details that reminded me of my hometown so that made it a very fun read. I would definitely recommend this book! Great first read of 2025!

My gf and I put up our Christmas tree on the weekend while watching Dear Santa! Such a good, funny new Christmas movie! Highly recommend.
I'm also starting The Simpsons from Season 1. The first episode is a Christmas one!

Today marks my 1 year anniversary of being clean and sober! It is surreal to say I haven't had a sip of alcohol or touched hard drugs in over a year now!
After my dad passed away I became severely depressed and turned to alcohol and drugs to cope with my grief.
During my recovery books have helped me tremendously. I love getting lost in a good book.
