Could not get into this book. Dialogue was stilted and Tara felt more like an archetype than a real person. Maybe people more interested in the Alaskan fishing industry will have more luck.

#morningread I believe this is the first book I've ever read that is set in an Alaskan fish hatchery.
Came home from a two-week vacation in Alaska with a suitcase full of you-know-what to find a delightful package from @Mommamanzi with @ginganinja 's #covertocover book and journal. Can't wait to dive into it!
Rough. Interesting. Lonely. Brave. Off and on boring. A bummer of an ending, not that I'd ever let that ruin anything for me. Wasn't a total win for me but I definitely recommend it.
Another great #wordstockpdx! Home now. Time to open this bottle of wine and get reading! Good night Littens!
This shelf talker hooked me at @Powells . No laundromats!
Have been in a bit of a reading slump lately. Grateful to this quietly beautiful book for bringing me out of it. Oh, and for desperately making me want to visit Alaska.
It's beautiful outside, but after a bike ride and a hike, I'm just curling up with this new friend for the afternoon.
Library day
Reading a book with 'laundry' in the title > doing actual laundry.
